Welcome!

Hello, and welcome!

First off, I'd like to wish you a happy and successful new year.
As I am launching my new website, I've been wanting to create a friendly space to communicate more directly with clients, fellow designers, and design lovers in general. This blog will allow me to talk more in depth about my projects, share my inspirations, and maybe even interview talented people who I look up to.

But today, I'll just introduce myself. I am Maud, a French graphic designer and illustrator based in Brooklyn. Growing up in a quiet town south of Paris, I never though I'd ever be able to move to New York City, where everything seemed so exciting, dynamic and open to the world. But when I graduated from ESAG Penninghen in June of 2014, I decided to go for it and although moving to the States wasn't easy - let alone being able to stay here - my passion for my job, the city and the incredible people I met gave me the motivation to do everything I could to pursue my passion here. After following the New York design scene from afar for a couple of years, being able to experience it was exhilarating, and still is.

After working for four years at the incredible studio Franklyn where I learnt more than than I ever though possible, I felt ready to take the leap, and launched my own studio in December of 2018. I kicked off my new career with a collaboration with Maison Kayser, and am now working with so many inspiring and talented clients that I'll be happy to share with you along the way.

If you'd like to read more about my process, you can go ahead and read this interview, or this article by Aiga's Eye on design.
Now, I'd love to hear from you! Wether you'd like to talk about a project you're working on, share your own experience or just chat, feel free to reach out here.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day,
M
